Could it be that a miracle can happen? Is it possible that we will be woken from the nightmare of two relegations by the previously unknown wildcard?
From the moment he banged in a screamer in his first performance in a pre-season friendly Bakary became something special in a broken and wounded squad.
His goals, assists and blistering performances have arguably kept our noses above the surface as we have struggled against drowning in the seeming endless hangover of relegation from the Premier League.
To me there is no doubt that Bakary has been our Player of the Season, but he will never play a more important couple of games in Gold and Black than in the 180 minutes of football that lie ahead of us in the next week and a half.
If ever there was a moment to cement yourself in eternity as a Wolves hero, now is that moment. May our Player of the Season step forward, defy injury, defeat doubt and fearlessly lead our otherwise crippled and sorry team to survival.
Thank you for this year Bakary Sako! Heres hoping we see you beyond the next two games.
